Samantha Ruiz Cohen has been of counsel with the law firm since 2008. Samantha has extensive jury trial experience and practices in the areas of products liability, toxic torts, and criminal defense. As a former prosecuting attorney with twelve years experience, Samantha has tried first and second degree murder cases, as well as many other felony and misdemeanor cases. In addition, she has trained and taught trial advocacy skills to over one hundred lawyers in the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office. Samantha has been selected to be a law school instructor in advanced and intermediate trial advocacy seminars, including courses of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Samantha's experience has prepared her well to defend any type of felony or misdemeanor case. Samantha is also an adjunct professor of Constitutional Law in the Political Science Department of Florida International University.
