TWO VETERAN LITIGATORS JOIN Bennett Aiello Cohen & Fried AS PARTNERS (February 2008)

MIAMI – The law firm of Bennett Aiello Cohen & Fried has significantly expanded its scope of practice with the addition of two prominent trial attorneys – Stuart L. Cohen and Jana Marie Fried – who join as partners.

The expanded firm will be called Bennett Aiello Cohen & Fried, effective February 12, 2008. The new partners join Michael Bennett and Paul Aiello who established the firm in 2001.

“This expansion dramatically enlarges and strengthens our firm’s professional capabilities by adding three respected litigators with diverse skills,” said Michael Bennett. “While we maintain the intimacy and efficiency of a boutique law firm, we offer a legal brain trust with significant ‘big case’ experience.”

Before joining the new firm, Stuart Cohen was a partner with the Miami office of Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell, primarily representing clients in the areas of mass torts and products liability. He also serves a variety of professionals in professional liability cases with particular emphasis on insurance agents and brokers and companies, real estate professionals, and securities brokers and broker-dealers.

Jana Marie (“Jamie”) Fried previously was a partner in the Miami office of Foley & Mansfield, focusing her practice primarily on mass torts and products liability. She also represents clients in construction/surety litigation, commercial disputes and general liability defense cases.
